I Design and Edit videos.
More than ever before, video is the best way to reach your target audience. With the popularity of social media and blogs, video marketing has never been hotter. Content marking is the new way to advertise and educate your viewers. How will you do it? That’s where I can help. I’m a professional video editor and motion graphic designer (AKA, digital media designer).
Who Are My Clients?
My commercial photo clients include studios in need of a photo retoucher for projects they may be overloaded on, or a small business in need of someone to retouch their company headshots, for example.
My video clients are individuals and businesses looking to convey a message and/or emotion, or teach about a product or service with video footage they have already attained. They are usually looking for an all-in-one editing expert who can take their footage to the finish line (but sometimes they have a video and just need someone to add graphics). My clients appreciate attention to detail and efficiency. They often need specific design advice, or help conveying their message through copy (text on screen), or through animation. They rely on a quick-witted video editor for creative problem solving, and they desire their video to have a clear and concise message that keeps viewers’ attention. It should also follow their company’s branding rules, if applicable. My video clients can be local or 2,000 miles away. The beauty of technology makes this possible now.
What You Can Expect
What sets me apart is my range of skills and experience. I have a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art in video editing and motion graphics. I’ve worked in post-production for 9 years, alongside clients such at GE, Cleveland Clinic, Swagelok, Cub Cadet, Lubrizol, the Cleveland Orchestra, Schwinn, Shurtech, Smuckers, Nestlé and more. I’ve also created graphic design pieces for local businesses.
My range of skills allows me to be a one-stop shop for some clients. Below is a list of the digital services I offer. If you have any inquiries, please contact me.
I currently cannot travel because I am employed full-time. I can travel on weekends, up to 35 miles from Brunswick, Ohio (44212). Apart from being present at a shoot to help oversee things, working on-location isn’t required for my services. I work remotely, and can communicate with clients via phone, email, Skype, text–whatever you prefer. Footage, media assets, and deliverables can be exchanged through a cloud service.
I do not shoot video. If you need footage shot and would like to work with me for post-production of your video, I do have a circle of skilled video and audio professionals I can coordinate with to get the job done.
I graduated from Cleveland Institute of Art in 2009, and I have 9 years experience working in my field. I have worked with small and large businesses alike. I am detail oriented, organized, and swift at creative problem solving. Click here to view my résumé.
No – I do work at a studio, so I may not be able to work with you if it interferes with my non-compete or if it will take up a large amount of time in a short window to complete. If you are a small business, this is not likely an issue. My freelance time is limited to weeknights and weekends when I am not at work.
